Patio furniture on the cheap

Walked in to the Salvation Army the other day, looking for a table or dresser or something that I could tear apart to use as shelves (more on that as the project unfolds) and instead walked out with these.

Six chairs with cushions and an umbrella base for $100. Not too bad, I think. There was a cheap plastic umbrella, but since I don't need it I donated it back.

Eventually, I will repaint them and either recover the cushions or find some at the end of the season sales, but until then I am perfectly happy sitting out there watching my doggies chase leaves and each other.
